Jeff Bezos sounds like he’s throwing some Amazon money around … because his company is reportedly trying to acquire TikTok.

Amazon submitted a bid to buy TikTok as the popular video app nears the Saturday deadline to separate from Chinese ownership or face a ban in the United States … according to a report Wednesday in the New York Times.

The report says the Amazon bid came in at the last minute … and the NYT also notes the Amazon offer is not being taken seriously.

President Trump in January set an April 5 deadline for TikTok’s Chinese parent company ByteDance to sell the social media app to a non-Chinese buyer or be banned in the U.S. over national security concerns.

Trump told reporters Sunday there are lots of potential buyers showing tremendous interest and hinted a deal would be made before the deadline.

Paige Spiranac wants the haters to butt out of her content … clapping back at a troll who took issue with her featuring a certain ass-et in a video.

The sports influencer and S.I. Swimsuit model posted a clip of her setting up a new golf bag on Tuesday … and at one point, she briefly had her back turned to the camera, which put her rump on display.

Some dork was so appalled by the not-so-subtle move … commenting, “Had to start that second shot with your ass on the camera. Real classy Paige.”

“I went from having my back connect to my thighs to this,” Paige said Wednesday. “It’s not the biggest peach now but I’ve been working harder than I ever have in the gym and also with my diet.”

“Heck yeah I’m going to show it off! I’m proud of my body and how hard I’ve been working to achieve my fitness goals.”

Paige also shared a side-by-side shot of her fitness journey to get her point across.

The 32-year-old has had to fend off plenty of wild antics from her followers over the years … including that one time she had to come out and confirm her boobs have nipples.

Paul Rodriguez is going to war with the Burbank Police Department … bracing for an ugly legal battle over his recent arrest for drug possession, TMZ has learned.

The legendary actor-comedian and Burbank law enforcement sources traded accusations in separate statements to TMZ, turning Paul’s misdemeanor drug possession case into a wild drama.

On Friday night, Paul was arrested with a female friend after cops pulled them over — she was driving, he was in the passenger seat — and conducted a search, eventually finding drugs in the woman’s purse. Paul told TMZ the cop slapped him — and Paul’s attorney, Bobby Samini, later said the officer’s actions constituted a civil rights violation.

As for Rodriguez, Samini returned fire, telling TMZ … “The assertion that Mr. Rodriguez was in possession of any controlled substance is absolutely false. Statements by anonymous sources that to the contrary are solely intended to defame Mr. Rodriguez are cowardly and irresponsible.”

Samini went on … “Mr. Rodriguez will defend these allegations and take all appropriate legal action against those responsible. Aside from Mr. Rodriguez’s storied career in Hollywood, he is a retired United States Air Force veteran. He served this Country honorably and held the highest levels of security clearance.”

Samini continued … “Although he fully cooperated with law enforcement, he was forcibly removed from the vehicle, arrested, and subsequently strip-searched. No controlled substances were found in his possession or on his person. This conduct was not intended to protect and serve the community but intended to humiliate and demean Mr. Rodriguez.”
