Gal Gadot‘s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony served as a battleground for pro-Israel and pro-Palestine protesters … with demonstrators clashing on the streets as she received her star.

Things got super intense on Hollywood Boulevard as Gal’s Walk of Fame ceremony was underway Tuesday … with protesters getting into a fight just feet away from where the Israeli actress was being honored.

Footage shows the chaos devolving between pro-Israel and pro-Palestine factions … one altercation happened after a pro-Palestine demonstrator snatched a flag from the pro-Israel faction.

Gal’s ceremony was walled off from the protests … though at times during the presentation the roar of demonstrators could be heard in the background.

Vin Diesel gave Gal major props, and after his speech she took the dais and got emotional accepting her award … bringing her children over to take photos with her brand new Walk of Fame monument.

The protests across the street didn’t disrupt Gal’s ceremony, but they did have an effect … it’s unusual for these events to be separated from the public.

Donald Trump‘s had his Walk of Fame star vandalized several times over the years … and it will be interesting to see if pro-Palestine supporters target Gal’s star.

Ryan Reynolds is asking a judge to let him out of the ongoing legal saga between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively … and he’s taking some shots at Baldoni in the process.

Ryan just filed a motion to dismiss Baldoni’s defamation suit against him.

According to the legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Ryan says Justin is showing his true colors in filing suit against him … claiming Baldoni took his “thin-skinned outrage over a movie character” and decided to go after Ryan in court … a reference to the satirical, woke Nicepool character from the new ‘Deadpool’ movie, which JB thought was an obvious shot at him.

Reynolds says Baldoni’s lawsuit won’t hold up in court … he says him referring to Baldoni as a “predator” is constitutionally protected opinion … and, even if not, he says it’s substantially true.

Blake’s husband also rips Baldoni’s lawsuit as essentially a “burn book” … and he claims Justin is just trying to shame him for sticking up for his wife.

Ryan is asking to dismiss the claims against him with prejudice so it can’t be filed again.

Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson, lawyers for Reynolds, tell TMZ … “Mr. Reynolds has a First Amendment right to express his opinion of Mr. Baldoni, which should be comforting to a group of people who have repeatedly called Ms. Lively and Mr. Reynolds ‘bullies’ and other names over the past year.”

After 286 days in space, two American astronauts who’ve been stuck on the International Space Station since last spring are finally back down on Earth.

Butch Wilmore and Sunita “Suni” Williams splashed down softly off the coast of Tallahassee, Florida today at about 5:58 PM ET, following a 19-hour journey in a SpaceX spacecraft, alongside astronauts Nick Hague and Aleksandr Gorbunov.

It was a smooth arrival back to Planet Earth, with Dragon Freedom’s Crew-9 parachutes deploying 6,000 feet in the air, and the control room erupting in cheers as they splashed down into the water.

Wilmore and Williams, both test pilots, were only supposed to be in space for 8 days … they flew the Boeing Starliner up to the ISS in June last year, but due to thruster issues and helium leaks, NASA decided to return the spacecraft to Earth completely empty — forcing the unexpected staycation in space for Butch and Suni. They’ve been stuck on the International Space Station ever since.

To be clear … they were never actually “stranded” — Butch and Suni had arrived at the ISS prepared for an extended stay in the event something on the mission went sideways … as it did. NASA was considering whether the two could fly back on the Boeing Starliner, but NASA vetoed them getting on that return trip over safety concerns.

Then they had the opportunity to return in September, but they opted to stay, since the SpaceX craft sent up at the time kept 2 crew members off the flight, to give Buch and Suni seats for the ride back … but that would have left no replacements on the ISS if they had departed. So they stayed.
