The Florida inmate who cops say was communicating with the wife of “Ghost Adventures” star Aaron Goodwin as part of her alleged murder-for-hire plot is a convicted killer himself … TMZ has learned.
Police say Aaron’s wife, Victoria Goodwin, hatched a plan to off her husband to get out of her marriage … and she allegedly enlisted a prisoner named Grant Amato to help her see the diabolical plan through.
Well, we did some digging and discovered Amato is serving a life sentence for a triple murder involving his family. A former nurse, Amato was found guilty in 2019 of fatally shooting his father, mother and brother in their Florida home.

Before the murders, Amato was accused of stealing $210,000 from his family and spending the funds on a webcam model from Bulgaria who he met on a pornographic website.
Cops say Victoria told them she first learned about Amato in a true-crime documentary and became pen pals with him while he was behind bars.
Police say Victoria told Amato she wanted to kill Aaron and provided information about Aaron’s location and set times in California while he was filming “Ghost Adventures” with Zak Bagans.
Cops say Aaron’s wife and Amato set aside $11,515 to pay the alleged hitman … and Amato messaged someone about the alleged plot, texting them … “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?”
The murder never happened … but as we first reported, Victoria was arrested last week and charged with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Aaron told us he was blindsided by the developments, and now he’s getting court-ordered protection from her. According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Victoria is barred from contacting Aaron for the next 3 months.

TMZ also spoke with Amato’s former defense attorney, Jared Shapiro, who repped him in his triple murder case, which was the subject of a Paramount+ documentary, “CTRL+ALT+DESIRE.”
Shapiro described Amato as a “normal person” until he committed the homicides, adding that he has a calm demeanor and nothing really phases him, including jail.
Shapiro also says Amato believes he’s always the smartest person in the room and comes off as “arrogantly intelligent.”
Furthermore, Shapiro says Amato enjoys the spotlight and was speaking to Paramount+ producers about the documentary while he was in jail for the murders.
What’s more, Shapiro says he’s not surprised Amato was allegedly involved in the murder-for-hire plot because he likes the attention and wants to feel useful.
So far, Vegas prosecutors have yet to charge Amato in the attempted contract killing.

SZA‘s “S.O.S.” album legacy is being aligned with Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller” — and the award-winning singer/songwriter cannot find the words, for once!!!
TMZ Hip Hop caught up with SZA outside “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday, fresh on the heels of her and the late King of Pop sharing the record for the longest-running Top 10 album by a Black artist on the Billboard 200 chart.
MJ’s music didn’t get boosted from the streaming era, but “S.O.S.” is barely 2 years old and has accomplished such a feat … classic albums win differently as the generations change!!!
We asked SZA about the potential music video, but she’s staying mum for now. She and Kendrick are heading on tour soon, and there’s a good chance the visual could premiere for the concertgoers!!!
Rosie O’Donnell Leaves U.S. for Ireland … Trump Team Says ‘Good Riddance’
Published
Rosie O’Donnell says she’s ditched the U.S.A. for her ancestral homeland … telling fans she and her daughter have moved to Ireland — and, President Donald Trump‘s team says the White House couldn’t be happier.
The former talk show host announced the move in a nearly 10-minute-long video she posted to TikTok earlier this week … and, in it she says she moved to the Emerald Isle on January 15.
O’Donnell — who says she’s in the process of getting Irish citizenship, because her grandparents were born in the country — points to the fraught political situation in the United States of America as the reason for her move.
Rosie says, “When it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back … It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know.”

Of course, Rosie has a longstanding feud with President Trump … who once said during a political debate the only woman he refers to as a “fat pig,” a “dog,” and a “slob” is Rosie herself.
It kicked off back in the mid-2000s when O’Donnell called Trump a “snake-oil salesman on ‘Little House On The Prairie'” … and Trump responded by calling her a “real loser.”
We reached out to the White House for comment on Rosie’s move … and, it seems there’s still no love lost — ’cause WH spokesperson Taylor Rogers tells us “Promises made, promises kept. Good riddance!”
Rosie may return to the U.S. one day … but, we doubt it will be during Trump’s second term!
Diddy Maui Police Chief Named in Lawsuit … Allegedly Posed as Local Cop After Woman Claims She Was Raped
Published
Diddy‘s alleged sexual assaults were aided by Maui’s Chief of Police … this according to an amended lawsuit that also named NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and influencer Druski as co-conspirators.
Here’s the deal … a lawsuit claims John Pelletier, while on a trip to California, pretended to be a local sheriff in 2018 after a woman named Ashley Parham claims Diddy and others “violently gang raped” her.
If you don’t remember … Parham claims she was set up by Shane Pearce, a mutual alleged associate of Diddy’s, to be sexually assaulted at his apartment after she made a comment on a phone call with the rap mogul about how he murdered Tupac.
Parham claims she eventually fled the house and a neighbor called the police … which is when Pelletier — who was allegedly working security for Diddy at the time of this alleged incident — told Parham and her neighbor they had received several noise complaints, and instructed Parham to go home.
She says Pelletier did not offer to take her home, call for emergency services like an ambulance, or offer to take her to a hospital, and he did not offer to help her recover her clothing or other personal effects from the apartment where she was allegedly raped.
As we told you … Pelletier — who became Maui’s chief of police in 2021 — is far from the only person named in the amended complaint, which also leveled accusations at NFL wide receiver Beckham.
OBJ — who Parham claims participated in the rape — has blasted the claims … calling them “stupid” and says he’s never been to the city where the alleged rape is said to have happened. Diddy’s team has also denied the allegations.

Worth noting … Maui County Mayor Richard Bissen has called on Pelletier to be put on administrative leave pending an investigation due to the lawsuit. Pelletier denied all allegations against him in a statement released to local Hawaii media.
We’ve reached out to Pelletier as well … so far, no word back.
