Maksim Chmerkovskiy says the tiff between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky is a communication breakdown coming at the worst time … but, he seems hopeful the two sides can work it out.

We caught up with Maksim at Dance With Me Dance studios in NYC Wednesday. Maksim and his brother Val — both of whom have worked on “Dancing with the Stars” for years — own the studio.

Chmerkovskiy came to the United States with his brother and parents when he was 14 years old from Ukraine … so, we had to ask his opinion of Zelensky and Trump’s shouting match in the Oval Office last week when Zelensky was accused of not being thankful enough to the U.S. for aid.

Zelensky calls the argument between the two world leaders an “unfortunate breakdown of communications” which he says is happening at the worst possible time.

As for DJT’s order to pause military aid to Ukraine … Chmerkovskiy says the support is essential — ’cause people have lost everything in the conflict, but they’ll be fighting to the bitter end.

Chmerkovskiy says he has a message to share with Americans too … listen to the whole clip to hear what he’s got to say.

You may remember … Maksim was actually out in Kyiv when the war began back in 2022, when Russia invaded — and, he shared his harrowing journey of escaping the country and coming back to the U.S. on social media.

Morgan’s buddy, Eric Church, who owns the Nashville rooftop bar Chief’s, is cashing in big time by debuting a drink inspired by the whole drama, which comes complete with a tiny chair garnish in a cheeky nod to that infamous moment.

For just $15 (plus tax, of course), you can snag this drama-driven drink only on the venue’s rooftop. A TikTok video that went viral revealed it’s a mix of Smirnoff raspberry vodka, raspberry liqueur, lemonade, and a splash of soda … so it seems like the perfect way to toast to a wild night.

But don’t get any ideas! Chief’s ain’t playing around, reminding everyone to stick to sipping and not launching furniture, with a sign near the rooftop edge that says, “Don’t Even Think About It, You Are Not Morgan Wallen.”

In all seriousness, Morgan’s chair throw was a reckless move, and it was incredibly lucky it didn’t hit anyone down below on the street.

Morgan was arrested, slapped with three felony counts of reckless endangerment, and one misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

Pete Davidson and Colin Jost were never in a feud … but Pete definitely regrets how he behaved in the past before he went to rehab and got clean — so he bought CJ a very fancy gift to apologize.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … reports claiming Pete and Colin had become enemies were way overblown — and that was not the reason PD gifted Jost a $20,000 Cartier watch.

The real reason for the swanky timepiece is Pete wanted to offer a mea culpa — or as Pete would likely say, “My bad, dawg” — for his behavior prior to checking into rehab.

Specifically, Pete wanted to make clear he was taking his sobriety situation seriously … he wanted to show Colin he would be a reliable business partner after they went in on their joint ownership of the Staten Island Ferry.

Our sources say the two pretty much lost touch after Pete left ‘SNL’ … aside from their hilariously random co-purchase of the ferry — a choice Pete previously said was made when they weren’t fully sober.

Don’t get it twisted … Pete and Colin are on fine terms, our sources say … but, they also have their own lives — and, they weren’t ever really best buds. We’re told they used to spend a lot of time together ’cause they were colleagues, and now they don’t work together anymore.

The two comedians bonded on “Saturday Night Live” over a shared connection — Pete’s dad and Colin’s grandfather were both New York City firefighters — and, obviously, Pete was a regular fixture on “Weekend Update” when still on ‘SNL.’

However, our sources say when Pete was struggling with his sobriety, he was too much for Colin … something Pete realized when he got clean after going to rehab last summer.

As we told you … Davidson checked into a wellness facility to focus on his mental health. He also spent time in a facility in 2023 to help manage his PTSD and borderline personality disorder.
