Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky seems to have done some breathing exercises and cooled off after a heated exchange with President Trump in the Oval Office on Friday — a headline-making moment around the globe.
In a lengthy message posted to social media on Saturday morning … Zelensky acknowledged that lasting peace in Eastern Europe would be “difficult” without U.S. support … and he gave props for America’s help during Russia’s three-year invasion of his country.
The message had a vastly different feel and tone from the blowup the two world leaders had in the White House … which was live around the globe.
Trump basically went off on Zelensky after a bilateral meeting became a total trainwreck in minutes … all the while Vice President Vance needled Zelensky about not being grateful to the U.S. for all the country has provided during the war.
Zelensky meanwhile stood his ground … defending his military and citizens, saying the U.S. has not directly experienced the consequences of the war — a rebuttal that really pissed off the president.
Trump sternly replied … “You don’t have the cards right now. With us, you start having cards” adding that Zelensky is “gambling with the lives of millions of people, you’re gambling with World War III … and what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country, that’s backed you far more than a lot of people said they should have.”

In the end … Trump kicked Zelensky outta the White House and a presser that was supposed to happen afterward was obviously canned.
Hopefully, both have counted to 10 … and are ready to try critical meetings once again.

We’re Desperate For an *NSYNC Reunion …

Big Time Rush is going on their own tour soon … but, they’re not above going back to being an opening act — for one big-time band that is.
We caught up with the popular boy band in Los Angeles Friday night … and, we asked them what reunion tour they’d most want to see — and all four of the guys say it has to be *NSYNC.
Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega all say they’d love to see the early 2000s group get back onstage together … but, they think Justin Timberlake ultimately has to want to do it.
The group even tries to entice *NSYNC to reform by offering up their own services … promising to open for the band if it would get them back onstage.
As you know … talks of an *NSYNC reunion have swirled since the group got together to record “Better Place” — their hit single from “Trolls Band Together.”
There hasn’t been any concrete movement since … but, the sense is that most of the band would be down to link back up — as long as JT is in the mix.

BTW … Big Time Rush has their own tour starting soon. The four main members will appear alongside Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman, who both played major roles on the hit Nickelodeon show that launched BTR into fame — and, they held a pop-up event in L.A. to get fans excited.
We also asked the band about what the vibe of their tour is like … and, ya gotta listen to their answer for yourself.
Unclear if their offer will be enough to sway the *NSYNC team … but, it would be a ‘Big Time’ opening act!

Mom Michelle Arrested For DWI

Michelle Manziel — mother to former NFL QB Johnny — has been arrested for driving while intoxicated … TMZ has learned.
Manziel was arrested Saturday night in Kerrville, Texas … a town about 65 miles northwest of San Antonio.
We’ve obtained Michelle’s mug shot … no smile, but she does have a look on her face that seems almost shocked to be in the situation.
Michelle was being held on $7,500 bail … though it appears that’s been paid and she’s been released from custody. We’ve reached out to local authorities for more information … so far, no word back.
The Manziels have lived in Kerrville for a quite some time … it’s actually the town where Johnny attended Tivy High School before he committed to Texas A&M, won a Heisman and eventually played 14 games in the NFL.
As you may know … Johnny has talked openly about substance abuse issues — admitting he used Oxycontin and cocaine every day after the 2015 NFL season which brought his weight down around 40 pounds in just a few short months.
Manziel said he went on a “$5 million bender” at the time … which ended with him trying to take his own life. He says he’s now sober.
We’ve reached out to Michelle about this DWI arrest … so far, no word back.

last member of Badfinger dead

Joey Molland, the last surviving member of the rock band, Badfinger, has died.
Molland died on Saturday night surrounded by his family, according to the band’s Facebook page. No cause of death has been revealed but he reportedly faced health issues over the years including pneumonia most recently.
“Thank you, Joey…for keeping the band’s music alive for so long and for being a friend to us all,” the band said in their statement on social media. Molland, who played guitar, was a founding member of the Welsh rock group.
Molland joined the band in 1969. They were formerly the Iveys, and were signed to the Beatles’ Apple Records.
The band consisted of Tom Evans, Mike Gibbins and Pete Ham. Evans and Ham both died by suicide. Gibbins died from a brain aneurysm. When the group was all together they recorded a total of five albums.
Joey was 77.
