Blake Lively ‘It Ends With Us’ Scene Echoes Reynolds Dance Fans Discuss Conspiracy Theory
Published
Was Blake Lively trying to recreate a scene from a 2011 film in last year’s “It Ends with Us” that’s led to controversy and jealousy? One fan’s conspiracy theory has taken off online, and others are noting similarities.
In the 2011 comic book flick “Green Lantern,” Blake’s character dances with the hero — her future husband, Ryan Reynolds — and it seems to resemble a disputed scene in “It Ends with Us” that’s part of a harassment lawsuit.
Blake is suing her “It Ends with Us” castmate and director Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment, and her lawsuit describes one scene in which the two slow-dance in a bar — she says Baldoni nuzzled her neck and whispered into her ear, making her uncomfortable … and no one was aware of the comment.
Years earlier, in “Green Lantern,” Ryan also dances intimately with his scene partner — Blake herself. The two were not married then — Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson, and Blake was dating Penn Badgley.
A fan online noted the scenes’ similarity Sunday, and posed the question — was Blake trying to recreate the same scenario, consciously or not?
Leanne Newtonposted on X … “I noticed that about 30 mins into the film, there’s a scene where Lively and Reynolds characters dance in a bar in an almost identical way to the slow dance scene from IEWU. The only difference is the characters were talking. Could it be possible that Lively was trying to recreate the scene to be similar to the scene she did with her husband when she fell in love with him? Did she rewrite the scene to mirror the details of the dance? Is this what she means when she says her husband is ‘all over this movie’?”
Newton speculates RR was jealous when he saw the ‘IEWU’ dance scene, after rumors of his own infidelity following ‘Lantern’s release.
Various others commented on Newton’s post, agreeing with the premise — though at least one person noted the similarities don’t prove anything, that Blake could have felt uncomfortable in the ‘IEWU’ scene nonetheless. It’s also unclear who exactly wrote the bar’s dance scene.

Baldoni released raw footage from the ‘IEWU’ clip in January, featuring sound that was not in the movie — the two actors talk about the scene as they dance, and they’re surrounded by cast and crew in the background. Blake even says it would be “more romantic” if they were talking during their dancing. Justin tells her she “smells good,” referring to her commenting on her spray tan, and the two laugh.
Reynolds divorced Johansson in 2010, and married Blake in 2012. Scarlett went on to marry ‘SNL’ funnyman Colin Jostin 2020.
Blake filed a lawsuit in December against Baldoni alleging harassment on set … Baldoni then filed his own lawsuit against the New York Times, alleging a coordinated, targeted smear campaign against him.
We’ve reached out to Blake’s reps for comment … so far, no word back.
Trump Impersonator Hilaria Baldwin Chased Me Down After Alec’s Snap My Neck Threat

Hilaria Baldwin‘s standing by her man — after a Trump impersonator tried to get under Alec‘s skin, it’s Hilaria who chased the guy down the street … according to the troll himself.
We got comedian Jason Scoop Tuesday in NYC, where his harassing confrontation of Alec went down, and went viral after he posted it. If ya missed it, Scoop hurled over-the-top zingers at Alec while impersonating Donald TrumpSunday night, provoking a furious response in which the actor threatened to snap the comic’s neck.
@jasonscoop
But, Scoop claims one of the wildest parts of his interaction on the street wasn’t caught on camera. He says after Alec erupted over Scoop’s jabs about the “Rust” shooting death of Halyna Hutchins, Hilaria came swooping in to protect her hubby.
Jason claims Hilaria sprinted in high heels and lunged at him in an attempt to grab his phone. But to his chagrin … he says his cameraman missed capturing the footage.
As far as his interaction with Alec, Jason admits he was genuinely nervous after AB got right in his face and threatened violence.
Scoop’s jokes definitely crossed a line, but he defends his bit by pointing out Alec mercilessly mocked Trump for years on ‘SNL’ … and Scoop himself is a big DJT fan.
Ultimately, the Trump-alike got the big reaction he was looking for — from Alec and folks online — but we’re guessing he won’t be messing with Mr. or Mrs. Baldwin again.

Graceland Woman Pleads Guilty … In Scam to Auction Elvis’ Mansion!!!
Published
A woman charged by the feds in an alleged scheme to “steal” Elvis Presley‘s Graceland estate mansion has pleaded guilty to mail fraud … but her aggravated identity theft charge has been dismissed.
Lisa Jeanine Findley claimed Lisa Marie Presley — Elvis’ daughter — had borrowed $3.8 million and put up Graceland as collateral, before Lisa Marie died in 2023. Findley then threatened to auction off Graceland if the Presley family didn’t pay off the loan
The FBI launched a criminal investigation, resulting in Findley’s arrest.
As we told you at the time, Lisa Marie never took out a $3.8 million loan, and the notary who supposedly witnessed Lisa Marie signing the loan documents says that never happened … she never even encountered Lisa Marie, ever.

Findley had previously pleaded not guilty to both charges … but she agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors Tuesday in Memphis, Tennessee, the Associated Press reports.
Findley had pretended to be three separate individuals in the scam, and published a fake foreclosure notice about Graceland in Memphis in May last year, according to the AP, and she later tried to blame a nonexistent Nigerian identity thief.
Findley would have faced a mandatory-minimum sentence of 2 years in prison for the identity theft charge and a maximum of 20 years in prison for the mail fraud charge if convicted, according to prosecutors. She’s scheduled to be sentenced in June for mail fraud.
