Gervonta “Tank” Davis‘ retirement might come sooner than he expected … ’cause Lamont Roach tells TMZ Sports he plans to knock him out on March 1st and end his career.
Tank claims he’s hanging up his gloves at the end of the year, but will enter the ring several more times before his departure — starting with his matchup against Roach, who he’ll face at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Roach, a 25-1 super featherweight, is well aware of Tank’s plans … and is determined to interrupt his agenda by making him quit earlier with a knockout.
“I worked my ass off,” Roach said of the fight. “If he’s on his way out, why not kick his ass out?!”
Despite Roach’s confidence, he’s seen as a major underdog in the 12-round bout … considering Tank, an undefeated southpaw, is regarded as the face of boxing and often compared to a young Mike Tyson.
However, the doubt doesn’t bother Roach — in fact, he uses it as motivation.
“I like to prove people wrong and I damn sure like to prove myself right,” Roach said.
“Right now, they really got me f’d up. So, you know, I got it on the agenda to upset a lot of people.”

Overall, Roach said it’s going to be the fight of the year and a start to his legacy run — after, he will look to fight another champ in the ring next, either at 130 or 135.
“I wanna prove that I’m the best.”

Arrested
Accused of Assaulting Police Officer

Ex-NFL player and current Denver Broncos linebackers coach Michael Wilhoite was arrested over the weekend … after allegedly assaulting a police officer.
According to jail records, 38-year-old Wilhoite was booked on second-degree assault to a peace officer at the Downtown Detention Center on Feb. 22.
Wilhoite is scheduled to appear in court at 10:30 AM Monday morning.
The Broncos addressed the arrest in a statement to 9News … saying, “We are aware of a situation involving Michael Wilhoite that occurred Sunday and are in the process of gathering more information.”
The outlet also reported the incident occurred after Wilhoite dropped someone off at the airport.
Wilhoite — who went undrafted out of Washburn University in 2011 — played six seasons as a linebacker in the NFL … spending the majority of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. He racked up 231 tackles in 79 games.
Prior to the NFL, he spent one season with the UFL’s Omaha Nighthawks.
After his playing days, Wilhoite served on the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers staffs before joining the Broncos as an outside linebackers coach in 2023

Justin Bieber wasn’t afraid to play dirty during a charity hockey game, getting in a scrap with former NHL star Jeremy Roenick … but there’s no bad blood.
On Sunday, Bieber was participating in the Skate For L.A. Strong event at Crypto.com Arena … and the game hilariously took a turn when Biebs and Roenick duked it out in the rink.
Check out the video … JB flips Roenick’s jersey over the ex-NHLer’s head and playfully fakes to uppercut his chin. Fortunately, this was all in good fun, because Bieber definitely has control!
JB and 55-year-old Roenick were eventually separated, and Biebs skated away with a big grin on his face.
Justin clearly seems in good spirits after his rep shut down social media speculation that he’s been using hard drugs. Instead, the singer’s rep insists he’s in one of the best places in his life, — focused on parenting and making music — and he definitely seems happy playing hockey.
As for the hockey event … big stars like Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Snoop Dogg, Danny DeVito and Vince Vaughn were all in attendance.

Poses For Tattooed Mug Shot …
After Gun/Drug Bust

One half of the Island Boys, Franky Venegas, has been arrested in Florida for alleged gun and drug offenses — and he’s currently in the clink, TMZ has learned.
On Sunday, Franky was booked into the Collier County Jail in Naples, FL, before he posed for a mug shot with his famous tattoos all over his face, according to police records.
Cops say Franky was charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and deliver possess sell altered firearm.
We’ve reached out to the police for a detailed narrative … but, so far, they haven’t gotten back to us. We’ll keep you posted.
As you may know, Franky shot to fame with his twin brother, Alex, as TikTok influencers in 2021 with their viral hit, “I’m an Island Boy.”
Also known as Kodiyakredd, Franky has a history of arrests for domestic battery, reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Now, he’s beefing up his rap sheet with 2 new crimes. We reached out to a rep for the Island Boys … so far, no word back.
