Jets fans are going to love this … one of Aaron Glenn‘s former players tells TMZ Sports New York’s new head coach is going to have them winning games in no time!!
Lions star cornerback Amik Robertson raved over Glenn in a sit-down with us this week … just days after the former Detroit defensive coordinator accepted the gig in the Big Apple.
Robertson told us Glenn was actually the reason he came to the Motor City from the Raiders this past offseason … and he gushed over the way the 52-year-old allowed him to blossom this year.
“Man,” Robertson said, “coach Glenn was a blessing that I didn’t realize was gonna be a blessing.”
“He a player’s coach, a passionate guy. Always wants you to be the best version of yourself.”
Robertson played in all 17 of the Lions’ regular season games, and had arguably the best year of his career, recording 50 total tackles, eight pass deflections and three forced fumbles.
He made it clear Glenn was a huge reason for the success — and while he’s certainly sad to see him go … he said he’s thrilled the coach will now get to shine with the HC title next to his name.
He said he’s sure, too, Glenn will turn things around quickly in NY … telling us Gang Green’s “in good hands with a guy like that.”
“I know he’s going to do great things.”
As for the where the Lions go without Glenn, Robertson says they’re using their unexpected playoff loss to the Commanders as fuel to help them rebound.
“Just know we keepin’ all the receipts,” the 26-year-old said. “When you fail and you see people doubting you — like that’s how I came up. That was the fuel to my fire. We’ll be back. It’s all good. We definitely keepin’ receipts.”
Rihanna High Fashion in High Stress … First Courtroom Sketch From Court Revealed!!!

Updated
12:30 PM PT — The first image of Rihanna in court has finally been released … and, while many fans were hoping for a photograph, right now all they’re getting is a sketch.
A courtroom artist drew Rihanna … capturing her in the white top and earrings which we previously reported she was wearing.
The court’s currently on break for lunch after a contentious morning between A$AP Relli and A$AP Rocky‘s attorney Joe Tacopina … and, the intense energy in the room shows no sign of slowing down after lunch.
Rihanna’s standing by her man in court … arriving for the fourth day of A$AP Rocky’s trial in his assault case in a fashionable outfit.
The singer-songwriter’s sitting in the gallery in between Rocky’s mother and sister … wearing a button-up white top, skinny black tie, black work pants and black point pumps — accessorizing with a pair of big gold hoop earrings.

She’s letting her hair down, parting it to the right … looking at people when they talk — no mask and no glasses on in the court. Rocky arrived at the courthouse in an all-black suit this morning … but, he and RiRi appeared to pull up separately, just like they did yesterday. They did leave together on Wednesday though.
Rihanna’s apparently famished too … snacking on some kind of bar or brownie while waiting for proceedings to kick off. Unclear if she missed breakfast to get to the trial or if she’s stress eating — but, it’s definitely no Giorgio Baldi.

We’re told Rihanna looks more relaxed today than yesterday — it’s a much smaller crowd in the courtroom today — but, she’s also all business … not cracking a smile or giggling at jokes others in the room find amusing. No photogs have been able to get RiRi on camera so far.
Of course, we told you Rihanna planned to attend the trial this week … and, pulled up yesterday too — sitting in the front row of the gallery while A$AP Relli, the man accusing Rocky of shooting him, testified.
Rocky is facing two charges of assault with an automatic firearm — and, if convicted, Rocky faces up to 24 years in prison.
TMZ.com
Joe Tacopina — Rocky’s defense attorney — has maintained Rocky couldn’t shoot Relli … ’cause the gun he had in his hand on the night of the alleged assault was actually a prop gun.
In court Thursday, Tacopina is expected to cross-examine Relli … though the judge began the hearing by asking the cameraman to turn off the camera filming the proceedings.
