Donald Trump remarkably would have finished tied ninth at the 2026 LIV Golf New York event, after having claimed to have shot 70 at Bedminster.
The President of the United States said he shot two under with a gross score of 70, to win the Senior and Super Senior Men’s Club Championship at his Bedminster golf course.
This came just days before LIV Golf stars rocked up to the same course for the New York event between August 6th and 9th.

And according to research by Action Network, four rounds of 70 would have placed Trump tied ninth at the recent LIV event.
He would have finished level with Branden Grace and Young-han Song if he shot four round of 70.
Trump, 80 years of age, would have finished ahead of some huge names from the golfing world if he averaged that same score over the four days.
He would have finished a shot ahead of ex-Masters champion and European Ryder Cup great Sergio Garcia, and placed ahead of the likes of Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Ian Poulter and co.
The 2026 LIV Golf New York tournament was won by Chilean star Joaquin Niemann, who finished on 16 under overall.
Harold Varner III finished second on 13 under, with Scott Vincent and Lee Westwood placing in a tie for third on nine under.
