Mickey Rourke’s Dog Needs Heart Surgery the Actor Can’t Afford
Mickey Rourke’s beloved pup is facing a life-threatening health crisis … and the cost of essential surgery could be more than the actor can bear.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Mickey’s longtime dog, Ivan, is suffering from heart disease and needs an operation — one that doesn’t come cheap.
We’re told the procedure will cost around $10,000 … and Ivan could potentially require a second surgery costing an additional $6,000 to $8,000.
Making matters even more complicated … the actor is in dire straits and doesn’t have the money on hand to pay for the procedure. Mickey had just checked into a hotel with Ivan two weeks ago.
As you know … Mickey emphatically rejected a GoFundMe set up to help him stay afloat and avoid eviction — despite it raising more than $100K. A GoFundMe spox tells us donation refunds were issued January 14th, and donors will get 100 percent of their contributions back.
We’re told Mickey is now urgently looking for work to cover his dog’s heart surgery … but as we previously reported, he’s been reluctant to accept offers being presented to him by his manager.
We reached out to Rourke’s rep, Kimberly Hines, who tells us … “I’m very resilient and committed to seeing Mickey make the right choices for his career and for his personal well-being. That said, we are at a moment of truth, and ultimately only Mickey can decide how he wants to play out his next chapter.”

The Williams driver shared the news on his Instagram minutes ago … saying, “I guess we’re stuck with each other now ❤️😊.”
Along with the news, the two athletes posted a post-proposal shot … with Lily showing off her new bling.
Plenty of friends and organizations shared their excitement … like fellow drivers Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, the Williams Racing and F1 accounts and more.
29-year-old Alex and Lily, 26, have been dating since 2019 … and they’ve been as inseparable as they can be with their individual schedules.
Alex has two podiums to his name since joining F1 in 2019 … scoring 313 points on the grid for Williams and Red Bull.
According to the LPGA site, Lily has three top-10 finishes over the course of her career … earning $540k on the course.
No word yet on when they plan to make it official … but we’re sure there will be plenty of big names present when they exchange “I dos.”

Former Disney actor Matt Prokop got pissed at police when officers showed up on his doorstep to arrest him recently … but he changed his tune quickly, begging the cops to take care of his pooch while he was being led away in cuffs.
Check it out — TMZ obtained exclusive Ring camera video of police officers walking up to the front door of Matt’s Texas home this past Christmas Eve. He answers the door and immediately starts mouthing off to the officers, asking “what the f***” they want.” When the cops say they want to speak with him, Matt snarkily fires back, “Start talking.”
Officers ask Matt about a woman named Lucy, but Matt claims Lucy is his dog, who’s heard barking up a storm in the video. FYI — a woman named Lucy called cops, telling them Matt was being violent toward her.
The video then jumps to the officers hauling Matt out of his house with his hands cuffed behind him. Matt, as you can see, is more concerned about his dog’s well-being than his own — literally calling out to the officers, and possibly a neighbor, to look after his canine. It’s unclear what happened to the woman who made the call, or what happened to the dog.
As we previously reported, the “High School Musical 3” actor landed in jail for evading and resisting arrest, and a violation of bond conditions. He was also charged with possession of child pornography.
BTW, this is the same former Disney star who dated Sarah Hyland, who accused him of verbal and physical abuse during their 5-year relationship, which ended in 2014. He was also arrested for allegedly abusing his girlfriend in 2024.
