Nicolas Maduro‘s gone from president in Venezuela to prisoner in the United States … and, we’ve got the first clear images of him in federal custody.

TMZ has obtained two videos of the deposed Latin American leader shortly after he landed in New York City … and, he actually looks pretty relaxed for someone facing drug charges in the U.S.

Check it out … after unloading Maduro from a truck they walk him right past the camera — and the former prez flashes a peace sign.

When compared to the other clip — where a large contingent of law enforcement walks him across a tarmac and into a nondescript building.

The White House released a clip of Maduro’s perp walk as well … with two DEA agents leading him down a hallway while he wishes onlookers a happy new year.

We did see a person believed to be Maduro disembark from a plane earlier in the day … though the video was taken from high above — and it was hard to make out much of him in the crowd of law enforcement officers.

He was then flown by helicopter to a secondary location … where the videos we obtained were taken.

As you know … President Donald Trump announced Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores were arrested after a large-scale military action in Venezuela. President Trump says the United States will “run” Venezuela “until such time that we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition.”

Maduro is now being held in MDC Brooklyn … the notorious prison that held Diddy during his sex trafficking trial and currently holds Luigi Mangione.

Sam Asghari went all in for his roots … storming the streets of Los Angeles to stand loud, proud, and unmissable in support of the Iranian people.

In an IG video posted Sunday night, the Iranian-born model showed himself waving the Iranian flag shoulder to shoulder with massive crowds in L.A., home to one of the largest Iranian-American communities in the country.

Sam and the crowd gathered near the federal building in Westwood … making it clear they were pushing back against political repression and calling for regime change among all the protests and chaos that have erupted in Iran.

IYDK, protesters in Iran are demanding change amid a crushing economic crisis and brutal crackdowns … with human rights groups claiming more than 500 people have been killed in recent days.

The same terror very nearly played out in L.A. … ’cause among the powerful show of unity a man plowed a U-Haul truck through a group of demonstrators. Thankfully, no one was injured and the driver was arrested.

Internet, you did your thing! Just moments after Nikki Glaser teased Leonardo DiCaprio about an old Teen Beat interview, the real one resurfaced online … and it is adorable!

ICYMI … while hosting the Golden Globe Awards Sunday, Nikki teased Leo about his penchant for women in their 20s, saying he had accomplished so much in his career all before his girlfriend turned 30.

Nikki admitted the subject matter had been well-visited … but she argued, “We don’t know anything else about you, man. I’m serious. I looked.”

She added … “The most in-depth interview you’ve ever given was in Teen Beat Magazine in 1991. Is your favorite food still ‘pasta, pasta, and more pasta’? … Look it up, that’s real!”

Fans did look it up … and it is real!

“Pasta, pasta, and more pasta” was, in fact, a handwritten answer Leo submitted to the question of his favorite food as a teen heartthrob.

Another gem is his music taste, which seemed all over the place.

While he listed Reggae and Rap as his favorite genres, his favorite musician was none other than easy listening crooner Harry Connick, Jr.

And his favorite actor? Jack Nicholson.

Leo didn’t walk away from the Globes with the Best Actor award he was nominated for, losing out to Timothee Chalamet … but his film “One Battle After Another” won for Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy.

Anthony Anderson and Rocsi Diaz may have been kindling more than just a friendship after the Golden Globes Sunday … we caught them leaving the Netflix party, where we asked them outright, “Are you dating?”

Anthony told us … “She’s my date for the evening.”

Our photog chatted with the pair as they walked hand-in-hand outside of Wolfgang Puck’s Spago in Beverly Hills. Anthony wore a classic tuxedo and bowtie while Rocsi looked elegant in a gorgeous floral dress.

The two sparked relationship rumors last year after being spotted on several intimate outings … and Anderson reminded us they’ve known each other for quite some time.

“We go back almost 20 years,” he said.

Anthony was a memorable guest on “106 & Park” back when Rocsi was hosting the BET talk show. The two clearly had chemistry … but Anthony was still married to his then-wife Alvina Stewart.
