Jill Biden‘s first husband, Bill Stevenson, is now a widower … because Bill’s wife was pronounced dead at their Delaware home after cops were called for a domestic dispute, and found her unresponsive.
New Castle County Police tell TMZ … officers responded to a reported domestic dispute at a home in Oak Hill around 11:15 Sunday night and found Linda Stevenson unresponsive in the living room.

Cops say officers immediately administered life-saving measures, but Linda was ultimately pronounced dead.
Now, get this … New Castle County Police tell us detectives from the Division’s Criminal Investigations Unit are handling the death investigation.
No charges have been filed in the case. Linda’s body has been turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. Dispatch audio, obtained by TMZ, from the incident mentions cardiac arrest.
Jill married Bill in February 1970, when he was 23 and she was a student at the University of Delaware. Two years later, Bill opened a hugely popular college bar near the UD campus, The Stone Balloon … in 1974 Jill and Bill separated and went through a nasty divorce where Jill tried, and failed, to get half ownership of the bar.
Joe Biden married Jill a couple years later in June 1977, when he was a senator from Delaware.
Linda was 64.

Isiah Whitlock Jr.
Dead at 71

Beloved actor Isiah Whitlock Jr. — perhaps best known for his catchphrase “Sheeeeeit…” from “The Wire” — has died.
The Hollywood veteran passed away peacefully Tuesday in New York following a short illness, Deadline reports.
Whitlock starred as corrupt Senator R. Clayton Davis on “The Wire” and had recurring roles on “Veep,” “Your Honor,” and “Atlanta.”
Whitlock collaborated with Spike Lee on several film projects, including “25th Hour” — where he originated his signature phrase — “BlacKkKlansman,” “Da 5 Bloods,” and “Chi-Raq.”
Most recently, he lent his voice to the upcoming Pixar/Disney animated feature “Hoppers,” due out in March.
Whitlock’s manager Brian Liebman told Deadline, “Isiah was a brilliant actor and even better person. He was loved by all who had the pleasure to work with or know him. He will be greatly missed.”
He was 71.

Reaches Out to Help Tylor Chase

Sean Astin is stepping in to help ‘Ned’s Declassified’ alum Tylor Chase … according to one of his former costars.
Daniel Curtis Lee, who’s recently spent time with Tylor — even covering a temporary hotel stay for him — tells TMZ … shortly after seeing him, someone assisting Tylor reached out, and told him Sean Astin wanted to meet Tylor.
According to Daniel, Sean — a major hero to Tylor, who’s a huge “Lord of the Rings” fan — hoped the meeting might help convince Tylor to get off the streets.
On Christmas Day, Daniel spoke with Tylor over FaceTime, during which Tylor reflected on his experience meeting Sean … and by the sound of it, it was a positive one. Worth mentioning, Sean is the current president of the Screen Actors Guild.
As we reported … Tylor has been a transient in Southern California for quite some time while allegedly struggling with meth addiction.
The push to help Tylor came after videos circulated the internet, showing him looking unkempt and in need of housing.
Riverside Police spokesman Ryan Railsback previously told us law enforcement can only do so much for Tylor without him explicitly asking for or consenting to help.
We reached out to Sean Astin … so far, no word back.
