Steven Spielberg is no fan of Ben Affleck and even refused to work with the actor after an incident involving the legendary director’s child, according to Mike Binder.
Binder — who’s also a Hollywood filmmaker — made the shocking claim about Spielberg and Affleck on a recent episode of Stephen Baldwin‘s podcast, “One Bad Movie.”
Binder says the bad blood began when Spielberg approached him years ago about collabing on a movie called “Man About Town,” which Spielberg was interested in directing himself. Binder says the two struck a deal with a handshake … but things took a wrong turn when Affleck signed on as the star.
Spielberg, Binder says, refused to work with Affleck, saying his latest film at the time with J Lo — presumably “Gigli” in 2003 — had bombed. Then, Binder says, Spielberg revealed a more personal vendetta, stemming from a pool incident involving his young son and Affleck.
Watch the clip … according to Binder, Spielberg told him Affleck was with Spielberg’s goddaughter Gwyneth Paltrow — the two were dating at the time — on a trip to Spain with Spielberg’s family. Spielberg’s son was playing in the pool, and Affleck was fully clothed when the boy pushed Ben into the pool. That enraged the actor, who then picked up the kid and threw him back into the pool, making him cry.
That was a deal-breaker for Spielberg, who refused to work with Ben on Binder’s project. Binder ultimately directed the film — without Spielberg producing — and Affleck starred in it, but it was a total flop and went straight to DVD.

Saturday night was a double takeover … rap artist Compton AV took over one bus, while DJ Sky from “Baddies” held it down on the other — and it turned into a full-on Christmas Bus Battle when the buses rolled past each other to see which one was more lit!
Compton AV was an incredible host … not only hyping the crowd, but delivering live performances of some of his biggest hits — including “Slid’N” — live on the bus. His bus, complete with a mobile billboard, followed us for an epic, on-the-move concert moment.
DJ Sky looked stunning and had passengers swooning as she led her bus to some of the best bars in town, including The Burgundy Room, one of the coolest, grungiest dive bars around. Both buses then hit Beaches in West Hollywood — not to be confused with Beaches Tropicana — where we got free shots and danced the night away.
To top it all off, Compton AV’s bus had a special guest, TikTok star Gigi, who came out to support him. She even posted a “TMZ After Dark” video from the night, which racked up more than a million views.

Death Certificates Released

The surviving loved ones of Rob and Michele Reiner have a little more closure today … the couple’s death certificates have been released.
TMZ obtained the late couple’s certificates from the Los Angeles County Public Health Dept. … while they list some information already publicly known — multiple sharp force injuries as their causes of death — the gravity of the documents is still heavy.
They were both cremated at Mount Sinai Mortuary.
Rob and Michele’s deaths were previously revealed as homicides from “multiple sharp force injuries.” The certificates describe how the injuries occurred … “with knife, by another.”
As you know … Rob and Michele were found dead December 14 in their Brentwood home.

Rob and Michele’s bodies were found by their daughter, Romy, and she told police her brother, Nick, lived with their parents and was “dangerous” and should be considered a suspect.
Nick has been charged with his parents’ murders and is expected to enter an insanity plea.
