Barack and Michelle Obama had plans to meet with Rob and Michele Reiner on Sunday night before it was known they had been savagely murdered in their Los Angeles home.

Michelle sat down Monday with Jimmy Kimmel on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” — and, at one point, the two started talking about the Reiners — with Michelle taking a veiled shot at President Trump.

Jimmy kicked things off by pointing out that Barack and Michelle were friends with the Reiners — and he offered his condolences. Michelle discussed how she and Barack had been chummy with the Reiners for many years and they were supposed to get together Sunday night — just hours after the couple was found dead.

Michelle then took an obvious swipe at Trump for what most people viewed as despicable comments about the Reiners after their murders. Just check out the clip for yourself.

As you probably know, Trump wrote on Truth Social that Reiner was a onetime talented director who was now tortured and struggling because of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Trump also claimed Rob drove people crazy over his hatred for him. Later on, Trump doubled down on his ugly remarks during a presser in the Oval Office.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the Reiners had their throats slit allegedly by their son, Nick, who was arrested hours after the murders by LAPD and US Marshals Service.

Sydney Sweeney looked like a modern Marilyn Monroe at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Housemaid” Monday night, wearing a white halter neck dress that showcased her bodacious chest and flowed into a feathered hemline.

Syndey was joined at the premiere by her co-star Amanda Seyfried, who brightened up the night in a sequined orange midi dress that featured an asymmetric hemline with draping detail around her waist. She, too, styled her blonde tresses in soft waves and added some drama with a layered necklace.

The pair looked just as breathtaking at a screening for the psychological thriller in New York City — Sydney once again showcasing her voluptuous figure in a skin-tight white gown, and Amanda looking like a goddess in a pastel pink dress.

Congratulations are in order for the Trump family — Donald Trump Jr. is engaged!

The eldest son of Donald Trump popped the question to his girlfriend of over a year Bettina Anderson, which they announced at a recent White House gathering with the smiling prez beside them. The announcement was shared on X by Laura Loomer — and you can tell just how thrilled the lovebirds are about the major development in their relationship.

Trump Jr. thanked his better half for giving him the “yes,” calling it a “big win for the end of the year.” Bettina also said a few words, telling the clapping crowd it’s been “the most unforgettable weekend” of her life and she feels like the “luckiest girl in the world.” She also shouted out her future in-laws for hosting such a nice event.

It’s not clear exactly how Trump Jr. and the socialite from Palm Beach, Florida met, but they have been dating for well over a year. They were spotted holding hands in Palm Beach last December.

This is Trump Jr.’s third engagement. He asked his first wife, Vanessa, for her hand in marriage in 2004. They walked down the aisle at Mar-a-Lago in 2005 and she filed for divorce after 15 years of marriage. They share five children: Kai, 18, Donald III, 16, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11. She is now dating golf legend Tiger Woods.

Trump Jr. then popped the question to Kimberly Guilfoyle in 2020 after dating for 2 years. However, rumors swirled about their relationship when he was seen getting close to Bettina in Palm Beach, as they had not formally announced their breakup.  It was crystal clear they were no longer an item when Bettina was by Trump Jr.’s side at his family’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago last year.
