Camryn Magness, a musician who once opened for One Direction and Fifth Harmony has died.

The heartbreaking news was announced on her social media pages Tuesday alongside a clip of her scuba diving while blowing a kiss to the camera. The announcement read … “Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our beloved Camryn, a radiant force whose voice, coy, and bright spirit touched so many. Whether beneath the waves or on stage, she met life with fearless energy and boundless kindness.”

Her obituary adds she died last Friday and was engaged to her fiancé, Christian. They had been together for several years.

Camryn had dreams of being a professional musician ever since she was a kid, and she started working on her aspirations as early as 8 years old when she sent a demo Jeff Pringle, who immediately took her on as a client. She told Teen Vogue in 2012 … “After that, I started recording and writing and that’s when I got my first tour with Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance.”

The singer-songwriter opened for Greyson and Cody on their Waiting 4U Tour in 2010 and for Greyson when he was touring in 2012.

She then joined One Direction for 7 shows of their first headlining tour, the Up All Night Tour, that same year. She also opened for them during their 2013 Take Me Home Tour. She caught the eye of Fifth Harmony a few years later and joined them on their 7/27 Tour in 2016.

Camryn last released an album, “Love Maps,” in 2021.

She is survived by her parents, Sarah and Gary, siblings Chelsea and Cable, and her fiancé.

She was 26.

Taylor Swift‘s got some practice shaking off the haters … and now, she’s got a simple response for critics who want her to “go away.”

Check out her Wednesday appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” — she claps back at naysayers who plead with her to exit the spotlight, bluntly arguing … “I don’t want to!” Case closed.

Nearly in the same breath, the “Opalite” hitmaker shouts out her fiancé Travis Kelce as being one of her 3 favorite people to turn to for life and career advice, enthusiastically noting … “I can talk to him about any of this.”

Travis was included alongside Fleetwood Mac icon Stevie Nicks and her frequent studio collaborator Max Martin as 2 other people who she can go to with anything, from industry questions to how to navigate animosity. Complimenting them further, she said one of the things she idolizes in people the most is career longevity — and of course, they’ve all had incredibly successful careers in their respective fieds.

But she’s not just about career talk. She told Colbert she’s also dazzled by longevity in friendships and relationships.

Taylor also spoke about the seismic impact of her Eras Tour as she prepares to drop the first 2 episodes of her “The End of an Era” docuseries, which falls on her 36th birthday.

In a sneak preview “Good Morning America” dropped earlier Wednesday, Taylor became emotional as she spoke about the complications that come with putting on such a massive event. Fans, of course, are also looking forward to getting a glimpse of her blossoming relationship with Travis in the docuseries.

If SZA was trying piss off the White House with her stinging jab for using her music in a pro-ICE ad, then the singer failed miserably — because the WH loved every bit of her criticism!

First the back story … the White House posted a video to its X account Monday to promote the work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

In the clip, you see armed ICE agents ready for combat rounding up immigrants, coupled with a caption referencing SZA’s tune, “Big Boy,” which includes the lyrics “it’s cuffing season.” The WH’s caption read … “We heard it’s cuffing szn. Bad news for criminal illegal aliens. Great news for America.”

SZA didn’t appreciate the WH shout out and took to X Wednesday to express her disgust, writing … “White House rage baiting artists for free promo is PEAK DARK ..inhumanity +shock and aw tactics ..Evil n Boring.”

TMZ reached out to the White House for comment and they responded … but not in the classic brutal fashion we’ve become so accustomed to with the Trump administration.

Instead, Abigail Jackson, a WH spokeswoman, was sweet as pie to SZA, telling us .. “Thank you, SZA, for drawing even more attention to the tremendous work America’s ICE officers are doing by arresting dangerous criminal illegal aliens from American communities.”
